Quality and ISO 9001
Dr John Craig has performed over 500 (ISO9001) assessments and audits of
large and small companies in the UK, China, Dubai, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong,
Lithuania, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, and Thailand for
UKAS-accredited certification bodies. He also advises and sets-up management
systems to meet the requirements of ISO9001 and will maintain these systems if required.
John has represented the UK in standardization fora in Europe, and chaired
marketing and testing committees as well as promoting the concept of measurement
uncertainty; he serves currently on an IEC committee for electro-magnetic compatibility.

With this broad range of experience, Girac Limited is able to give
a very professional service for the setting-up of management systems
to meet both the needs of the company and/or the rules of ISO9001.
These management systems are specific to the needs of the company
and the way it wants to work – they are not pre-written boiler-plates
which do little if anything to help company performance and profit.
And, the documentation is only that necessary to meet certification
needs, no massive sets of manuals, perhaps only simple flow diagrams.
